    SEKO Logistics, an industry leader in Supply Chain Management, is seeking to fill an Import Coordinator/Brokerage position at its Syracuse, NY location.  The successful candidate for this role is a self-motivated, detail oriented, customer focused team player, capable of delivering new and innovative solutions to continuously meet and exceed our customer needs. 

    Responsibilities

    As an Import Coordinator/Broker, a successful candidate will possess the ability to manage multiple priorities on a daily basis, including but not limited to:

    • Submit, process and transmit customs entries and other filings
    • Monitor, track and update systems
    • Communicate with customers on shipments
    • Prepare necessary documentation
    • Input billing charges

    Qualifications

    Experience

    • Associate’s degree or greater in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field from an accredited educational institution
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

     

    Skills

    • Excellent communication skills (presentation, written and verbal)
    • Strong teamwork, work ethic, and integrity
    • Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
    • Exceptional problem solving skills, and creative solutions development and execution

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Supply chain logistics, including customs brokerage and international transportation
