    This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work with professional team is a must. Also very important is the ability to work in high pressure situations.

     

    This is a part time position! 

    Responsibilities

    Carries out cross dock functions with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

     

    • Verify all incoming shipments to bills of lading and packing lists.
    • Receive inventory in the computerized system.
    • Place equipment in predetermined location.
    • Palletize the product and shrink wrap.
    • Load and unload products onto trucks.
    • Conduct physical counts.
    • Investigate discrepancies.
    • Consistently handle 50lbs + boxes and other cargo.
    • Comply with C-TPAT Security Profile.
    • Expected to uphold Core Values.

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required 

     

    Education and/or Experience

    • Experience in medium to large size freight forwarder or LTL carrier in a warehouse environment.
    • Previous forklift experience and/or certification
    • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
    • Participate pre-employment background check and drug screen.
